Abbot Elementary’s Janelle James to host ABC game show The Final Straw

Everyone’s favorite main issue is about to headline a new game show. Janelle James, the comedian and actress known for her role in Abbott Elementary Schoolwas chosen to host The final strawa Jenga-style game show on his ABC home network.

The game show, which is produced by Peyton Manning, will feature four teams of competitors competing against each other while battling life-size tilting towers. As in the classic Jenga game, competitors must pull items from the pile without knocking over the tower in order to win prizes. The last team standing will take on The Mega Stack in hopes of winning a grand prize.

ABC describes The final straw as a “fresh and exciting format” that will capitalize on James’ comedic timing. “I’m thrilled to be part of a show that’s as silly and fun as I am,” James said. “I look forward to this opportunity to expand my relationship with ABC with my second comedy project on the network.”

The final straw will air alongside fan-favorite ABC game shows Celebrity family feud and The $100,000 Pyramid every Sunday from July 10.
