A poll says…this ABC series has been renewed. The alphabet network resumed Celebrity family feud for an eighth season and the series will return to Sunday July 10.

A prime time game show, Celebrity family feud is hosted by Steve Harvey. Just like in the original family quarrel series, celebrities, their family and friends try to guess the most popular answers to polls of 100 members of a former studio audience. The difference is that in this version they play up to $25,000 for charity. Season seven contestants include Rob Lowe, Terrence Howard, Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Neil Flynn, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Patrick Warburton, Dee Snider, Terry Bradshaw, JoJo Siwa, Ross Mathews, and Loni Love..

The seventh season of Celebrity family feud earned an average rating of 0.63 in the 18-49 age group and 4.66 million viewers. Compared to season six, this represents a 16% drop in the demo and a 10% drop in viewership in the Live+ same day ratings (including DVR playback until 3:00 a.m.). It was ABC’s highest-rated demo in last summer’s demo.

Today, the alphabet network has also been renewed Judge Steve Harvey for a season. The first season ends on April 26, and a premiere date for season two will be announced later.
