The California native was in New York promoting her recipes at a pop-up market when she spoke at the outlet.

Although she admitted that she and her husband William Tell were considering returning to the world of television to promote his business, the couple ultimately decided it “didn’t feel right” for their family.

“If I’m able to not do it that way, then I would prefer it,” she told the outlet.

“Our whole family is dairy-free and we don’t eat a ton of meat, so I’m always looking for alternatives and different recipes,” she said. “I was really excited to work with Planet Oat on these because my brother’s fiancée has a nut allergy. So when we’re all together, these are actually the perfect ingredients to make them safe for everyone.
