Los Angeles Clippers dance team gets their OWN reality TV show

The Los Angeles Clippers dance team is getting their own reality series.

E! Entertainment said on Monday that the series slated to debut early next year will showcase what it’s like to be a member of the team on and off the pitch.

Eight hour-long episodes of LA Clippers Dance Squad are scheduled to air on the cable network.

The show will take viewers through summer auditions to choose the team and the emotions and ambitions of the dancers.

A press release for the show noted: “Once the team is assembled, the emotions, ambitions and endurance of the dancers will be put to the test during hours of intense rehearsals.

“As the season progresses, fans will learn that it takes a lot more than rhythm and hot moves to become a member of the Clippers’ dance team.”

E! Executive Vice President of Programming and Development Jeff Olde said in a statement, “The Clippers’ dance team is an established and popular part of LA sports history, and we are delighted to donate to our fans get an exclusive glimpse into this high-energy world.

“This series will provide a fascinating and revealing look at this exclusive organization and the glamorous, larger-than-life women who compete in a high-stakes game both on and off the field.”

Petra Pope, creative director of the LA Clippers’ entertainment teams, also said in a statement: “The women of the Clippers dance team embody the physical and spiritual essence of the modern woman.

“These athletes come from diverse ethnic backgrounds and dance backgrounds.

“We expect them to be ambitious ambassadors for everyone they meet. “

Among the producers of the series is Cash Warren, husband of actress Jessica Alba and whose father Mike Warren played at UCLA under basketball coach John Wooden.

The show is produced by Mandalay Sports Media, co-founded by Los Angeles Dodgers co-owner Peter Guber.

Mandalay Sports Media Executive Vice President Jon Weinbach said in a statement, “The women on this dance team pursue their dreams of entertainment, live life fully in Los Angeles and perform in front of huge crowds.
