The latest title from FromSoftware, the highly anticipated Ring of Elden, is out now, but Bandai Namco has also released a new trailer for the title featuring legendary actress Ming-Na Wen asking fans to go get the Elden Ring. This more traditional trailer comes with some weird soap opera-inspired live action.

One of these new live-action trailers for the game comes courtesy of Bandai Namco’s Southeast Asia YouTube channel, and sees the actress – perhaps best known for her work in various Disney properties, including playing the role of Mulan in the 1998 animated film – looking through all of her past accomplishments, before embarking on a new adventure in search of the Elden Ring. It features various footage of the new RPG as Wen herself gives a vague overview of the player’s journey before pumping it up to search for the Elden Ring himself.

This is in stark contrast to the Ring of Elden Trailer Thailand. This trailer turns the game’s story into a soap opera, replacing the game’s twisted characters with regular people. It contains a bit of gameplay towards the end, but mostly serves as an unusual recap of Ring of Eldenand a method to show even more of the game’s extremely high crit scores.
