Soap and Star Trek actress Marj Dusay dies at 83


Marj Dusay was a soap opera veteran who appeared in five different soap operas, including “Capitol,” All My Children “and” Guiding Light. ” She played an alien named Kara in the original “Star Trek” in an episode titled “Spock’s Brain” in which she steals her brain back to her planet. Dusay also played Blair’s mother on the “Facts of Life” sitcom. She made her big screen debut in the 1967 Elvis film “Clambake” and appeared on numerous television shows, including “The Odd Couple”, “Mod Squad” and “Get Smart”.
