As Major League Baseball prepares to hold its annual All-Star Game, TVLine asks: What a big television characters fill your own “all-star team” roster of doctors, cops, superheroes, funny people, and dramatic heavy hitters?

The 92nd MLB All-Star Game takes place this Tuesday, July 19 at Dodger Stadium, pitting Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, Vlad and other elite American leaguers against Bryce Harper, Manny Machado, Clayton Kershaw and more of the best of the National League.

But if you were to personally assemble a specific list of these types of TV characters, choosing from the medium’s decades-long history, who would all get your vote?

1 superhero – aka your “launcher”
1 sci-fi/supernatural character — the “catcher”
4 cops/LEOs/federal agents/spies — your battlefield
3 doctors/first responders/medical types — your outfield
3 sitcom characters – your “backup pitchers (comedy)”
1 direct drama character – your “Designated Drama Heavy Hitter”
Any 3 characters to fill the bank
1 showrunner/screenwriter — the “manager” of the team

Here are the rules, in bold so that everyone sees them and no one misunderstands the mission:
